February 2010: The AS rank tool is temporarily offline for software and data maintenance.
This web site presents CAIDA's ranking of Autonomous Systems (AS). We provide two ranking methods: degree-based and AS-relationship-based. In degree mode, we rank ASes by their degrees in the AS topology graph derived from the IPv4 Routed /24 AS Links Dataset. In AS-relationship mode, we rank ASes by their customer cone sizes defined by AS relationships inferred from RouteViews BGP table dumps.For a further explanation of the available options, see the AS Ranking Help page.
